Situated at the southern end of Lake Taupo near the trout fishing capital of the world Turangi, New Zealand, Plateau Walks & Water Adventures is uniquely positioned to offer opportunities to experience the stunning beauty of our many bush walks as well as boating activities on Lake Taupo.

Owners, guides and boat operators, Donald & Pamela have over 50 years experience of boating on the southern end of the lake and walking the surrounding bush tracks and can make your stay in the area something that you will be able to relive for years to come.

We welcome families and look forward to walking you through the lovely bush areas, or maybe catching the younger ones (and older to) their first ever trout (not a guarantee but we will do our best to land one or more).

There is nothing quite like relaxing on a summers day under a sun umbrella and swimming in our pristine clear fresh lake water at a beach in a little bay that can only be reached by boat surrounded by bush.

Maybe its just a quiet leisurely cruise taking in the stunning scenery of our volcanic lake or you are newly weds (or older weds) wanting a lovely romantic evening on a beach watching the sunset.
